I had the honor of using my uncle Andy's 35mm Olypmus film camera that he traveled all over the world with in the 1980s. Since the breaking of it's light meter, I've used automatic film, black and white disposables, and a recent 35mm with multiple macro lenses recently bestowed upon me from a fellow traveler who brought it trekking through Peru with her in the '90s. Since my freshman year of high school, the dark room has always served as a sanctuary of silence and solace, the best place to bump tunes and boogie, and as a portal to another era.
